Operation and Maintainance of Aquapuri water system.

 

 

  1. OBJECTIVE:

    To lay down a procedure for Operation of Aquapuri Water Purification System

 

 

  1. SCOPE:

    This SOP is applicable in Quality Control for operation of Aquapuri water purification system.

 

 

  1. RESPONSIBILITY:

QC Executive/Officer – To follow the SOP

Technical manager – To ensure proper execution of SOP

 

 

 

  1. PROCEDURE:

 

  • Power On Turn the power on. (Power switch on the rear side). The model no. will be displayed.
  • Flush Press [Select] to flush filters. It takes 30 counts. (** 1 count = 10 sec )
  • Standby After flushing, the system is in “Standby” state.
  • Operate In “Standby” state, press [OP/ST] to produce water.
  • Standby In “Operate” state, press [OP/ST] to stop producing water and be in “Standby” state.
  • Flush regularly cleans filters to maintain the water quality. Auto Flush is conducted for 6 counts at every 30 min.
  • Select R.O/ION (** for 382 / 383 models only) Follow the procedure bellow to select product water (R.O/ION)
  • Press [SERVICE] and select “Select R.O/ION” with [SELECT] button.
  • Press [R.O/ION] to choose the desired product water type and press [SELECT].
  • Press [OP/ST] to exit the service menu.
  • This is to Flush filters for 30 counts at first installation or filter cleaning. During “Flush”, the water drains out through REJECT line on the rear side of system.
  • Filter Change Flush: It flushes for 30 counts at filter replacement.
  • First Step flush: It flushes for 30 counts at the system On/Off.
  • Flush: It flushes for 30 counts at selection of [Service]-“Flush”.
  • It indicates filters to be replaced. Press [SERVICE] to go to “Change filter” and press [SELECT.
  • Press [R.O/ION] to choose the filters to be replaced and press [Select]. The system depressurizes for 20 counts.
  • On [Service] menu, “Change filter” gets changed to “Flush”, and then follow the procedure below for filter replacement. **Pressing [Select] during this procedure will take the next step. DO NOT press [Select] before filter replacement.
  • Open the front door take out the filter with the filter replacement tools.
  • Install the new filter and insert the fitting.
  • After filter replacement, press [Select] to flush filters for 30 counts. After filter flushing, the filter usage time will be initialized.

Operation and Maintainance of aquapuri Essence 393:

  • Power On Turn the power on. (Power switch on the rear side). The model no. will be displayed.
  • Stabilization Press [SELECT] for stabilization. It takes 60 counts. (** 1 count = 10 sec).
  • . Recirculation After Stabilization, the system is in “Standby” state. Press [RE/ST] for “Recirculation” state and it will maintain the water quality at Resistivity≥18.2 ㏁‧㎝, while indicating the temperature and resistivity of product water.
  • In “Recirculation” state, press [PRODUCT] to produce water.
  • In “Product” state, press [PRODUCT] to stop producing water and get back to “Recirculation” state. It’s for temporary pause of the system not getting back to “Standby” state. Once it produces no water more than a minute, the system automatically stops operating to protect a booster pump.
  • Standby In “Product” or “Recirculation” state, pressing [RE/ST] button will stop producing water and get in “Standby”.
  • In “Product” or “Recirculation” state, press [SERVICE] button to change the water quality unit between these two. (㏁‧㎝ ↔ ㎲/㎝).
  • On [Service] menu, “Change filter” gets changed to “Flush”, and then follow the procedure below for filter replacement. **Pressing [Select] during this procedure will take the next step. DO NOT press [Select] before filter replacement.
  • Open the front door take out the filter with the filter replacement tools.
  • Install the new filter and insert the fitting.
  • After filter replacement, press [Select] to flush filters for 30 counts. After filter flushing, the filter usage time will be initialized.
  • Auto-Recirculation is to circulate of the entire flow path for 30 counts at every 50 min to   maintain high water quality at Resistivity≥18.2 ㏁‧㎝. ※ Auto-Recirculation time is not applied for filter usage time.
  • Stabilization is for air removal in filters and tubing at the first installation or replacement. It regularly cleans filters to maintain the water quality. During Stabilization, the water drains out through REJECT port and a final filter. ① Filter change stabilization: Stabilization for 60 counts at filter replacement. (** If UF filter included, it takes 120 counts) ② First step stabilization : Stabilization for 60 counts at the system On/Off ③ Stabilization : Stabilization for 6 counts at [Service]-“Stabilization”.
